SplinterAid

We stock the Pocket Tin with name-brand supplies, not bulk no-name stock. One product from SplinterAid goes into every tin — two of them, in fact. Here it is.

Splinter Remover™

×2 per tin
What it’s for

Getting splinters out — fast, and with as little discomfort as possible. The flat stainless tool’s tri-bevel point loosens the splinter and lifts it free, instead of digging around it with tweezers or a pin.

In the tin

Two sterile, single-use removers in every Pocket Tin, each sealed in its own pouch with the directions printed on it. One for the splinter you have, and a sterile spare for the next one.

Why SplinterAid: it replaces the mini forceps in the tin. Pre-sterilized and disposable — nothing to sanitize, less infection risk — and designed in the USA specifically for splinter removal.

The Tool

Sterile · Single-use
How it works

Wash your hands and the affected area and pat dry. Gently pierce the skin at one end of the splinter with the point, then use the tool to push and lift the splinter out completely. Clean the area, keep it covered — and discard the tool. It’s used once.

Built for kits

Surgical-grade stainless steel, flat and light. The sealed pouch is only about 2.4 inches long, so two ride flat in the Pocket Tin without crowding the rest of the kit.

Designed in the USA by SplinterAid — the Splinter Remover™ is their single, focused product, made for first aid kits at home, on the job site, and on the trail.
